The pajama trend is a trend that has been going strong all year. Styling cute pajama looking tops, pants, dresses, and so on. I have had my eye on it for quite some time but have not ventured out to style it myself. Before our trip to Dallas I popped into Target and found this adorable pajama top and skirt matching set. I fell in love with the adorable polka dot pattern and knew it would be perfect for date night during our weekend getaway.
The Pajama Trend
The pajama trend can seem to be a tricky trend to style. However, with this trend you just need to be confident and go with it. What could be better than wearing a cute pajama set in public in a socially acceptable way? These cute and comfy pieces are perfect for date night. Whether you take a pajama top and pair it with jeans, or wear pajama pieces and match them together as did. The key to these pajama looks, especially when it comes to date night is to accessorize well. When you pair accessories to top off the outfit you no longer look like you are ready to hop into bed but ready to take on the town. I paired my pajama look with the cutest raspberry colored bucket bag, and my favorite white loafer mules. This brought the look together in a chic, and classic way. Not only did I feel so cute for date night but extremely comfortable.
This look would also be perfect for travel. Taking it from the plane straight to a meeting or dinner. It is comfortable, cozy and cute! Would this be a trend you would try? If so, I could not recommend these target pieces more! They fit true to size and are both under $25 each. Talk about a fashion win! 😉
