This past month has been filled with lots of beach days. Each year we love to spend some time with family at the beach. From Florida to Galveston we love any time we get at the beach. Last week we headed to Galveston, TX to spend a few days with my family to celebrate my Moms 50th birthday. One of her birthday wishes was to take family photos on the beach. Before heading out of town I stopped by River Oaks Shopping Center to find the perfect beach white dress & accessories. I ended up finding the cutest pieces that were perfect for out trip and photos at J. McLaughlin.

When I tried this dress on, I knew it would not only perfect for the beach but for our family photos. From the beautiful linen material to the wrap detail it is not only cute but extremely comfortable- not to mention nursing friendly for this new Momma. 😉
Each summer I am always on the look out for a new summer bag. When I stubbled upon this one I knew it was meant to be. From a top handle bag or an adorable crossbody this bag can be worn so many different ways. Plus, it is currently on sale!

My Experience Shopping At J.McLaughlin In River Oaks Shopping Center
I had never had the pleasure of shopping at the River Oaks Shopping Center J.McLaughlin location and was SO pleased with my experience. It was also my first time venturing out to shop and pick up a few things during these COVID times. Walking in I first noticed the safety precautions, ways to shop and hours posted on the door. With my mask on I walked into the store to find a very clean environment and smiling faces. The staff was beyond helpful and accommodating. They helped me find the perfect beach pieces to try on and offered me a bottle of water while I looked around. There were only two other shoppers in store and we all made efforts to keep a healthy distance even with our masks on. Even in these unideal times, I felt relaxed and safe picking these pieces up for the beach.
If you are looking for a spot to order or pick up from for any or all of your beach and summer looks I could not recommend heading over to River Oaks Shopping Center and popping into J.McLaughlin.
