Friday Trends: The Fair Isle Sweater You Need This Winter

And happy Friday! For the first Friday trends of 2019 I am super excited to share the fair isle sweater you need this winter. As soon as I laid my eyes on this sweater I fell in love! I had been searching for the perfect fair isle sweater for months. I had my eye on a J.Crew fair isle sweater from last year but sadly it never came back in stock. So when I saw this beauty without hesitation I knew I needed it.

The thing I love most about fair isle sweaters are how classic they are. This is a trend that has and will continue to stand the test of time. Just look back at your moms old photos from the 70’s or 80’s and trust me, you will most likely find her rocking her favorite fair isle sweater. 😉 It is an staple piece to have in your closet for winter and will stay with you for years to come.

The stunning pink and cream colors of this sweater allow it to almost act as a neutral. Though it does have some colors, they are subtle enough to go with almost anything. You can style this sweater with a cute skirt and tights, layer it over a pretty dress, or with jeans and OTK boots as I did. The sweater itself is not super heavy which makes it perfect for layering.
