Hello Darling!
This past weekends Bachelorette Party in San Francisco and Napa was truly a trip of a life time! When my sister mentioned she wanted to try to go to SF to celebrate I was all about it! I had such a blast planning it and can’t wait to go back again soon! Today, I thought it would be fun to share our complete itinerary and all that we did in our a little under 72 hour trip.
Bachelorette Party In San Francisco And Napa
Our Full Itinerary
Thursday January 3rd
Arriving in SF
8:48pm Arrive at SFO
- Pick up the 2019 Lexus RX450hL
So thankful to Lexus for giving us this car to drive for the weekend. You can check out all the details of this gorgeous car here.
10pm- Check into the Kimpton Sir Frances Drake Hotel
NOTE: We love Kimton hotels and this location did not disappoint. A historic boutique hotel in the middle of Union Square with a trolly stop right out front. The perfect iconic San Francisco spot to stay at.
- As soon as we walked into our spacious room we were greeted with the sweetest welcome. Some champs, chocolate covered strawberries and cheese. So thoughtful! 🙂
Friday January 4th
Head Muir Woods
6:30am- Head towards Muir Wood National Monument
Breakfast in Sausalito
7am – Grab quick breakfast in Sausalito
Lighthouse Café- 1311 Bridgeway, Sausalito, CA 94965
NOTE: This could not have been a more cuter spot to grab breakfast. The food was delicious, the service was the best, and the location was amazing! Definitely recommend stopping in if you are in Sausalito
Hike Muir Woods
7:30am- head to Muir Woods
NOTE: Before you head to Muir Woods make sure to go online and buy an $8 parking pass or shuttle reservation. Without this you can’t park in the area.
8am-9:30am Hike for an hour and a half
NOTE:It is a $15 pp entrance fee. We hiked the canopy trail and loved it!
9:30am- head back towards San Fran
10:15-10:30- Arrive back at the hotel
Lunch in Union Square
1pm: Lunch @ The Rotunda at Neiman Marcus
NOTE: This is the most beautiful lunch spot located in the historic SF Neiman Marcus. It sits underneath a stunning glass dome constructed of more than 2500 pieces of colored glass. The food was delicious and of course the bubbles were divine. For a large group I definitely recommend making reservations for lunch.
- Explore / Shop around Union Square
- Head to Pier 39 to hang out and explore (see the Sea Lions)
Decorate Hotel Room
4pm Head back to hotel
- Get settled in and decorate the Brides room
NOTE: Before the trip, I purchased a Bachelorette party decoration kit that included balloons, a sash, and much more. This made it super easy to decorate. I also created some fun “survival kits” for all of the girls. I have linked everything below.
Decorations and Survival kits
5pm Meet downstairs for the Kimpton wine hour
NOTE: One of my favorite things about Kimpton Hotels is their wine hour. No matter what location you stay at you will be able to enjoy a fun hour full of wine, and cocktails on the hotel. This was the perfect start to our evening festivities.
Lingerie Shower
5:15pm Lingerie Shower
- For the lingerie shower we incorporated a fun game along the way and decided to name each piece of lingerie to create a honeymoon menu for the groom.
NOTE: We did this at my bachelorette as well and it was so much fun! MOH- make sure to write down each name with description so that you can create a laminated menu for the Bride when you get back home 😉
Dinner at Rambler
7:45pm Dinner @ Rambler
NOTE: This was the perfect spot for our large group. Only a 4 minute walk away from our hotel, Rambler is located in a 100 year historic building right in Union Square. We enjoyed their market-driven, European inspired, California cuisine with several bottles of wine. The food was the best, the location was beautiful, and the staff extremely accommodating and helpful.
- After dinner, we headed back to the Kimpton and up to the Starlight Lounge for some drinks and dancing.
NOTE: On the 21st floor of the Kimpton Sir Frances Drake lies a super fun SF nightlife icon. A spot to grab a drink or two and dance the night away. Extremely convenient when staying at the hotel. ( We loved it here however, make sure to let them know that you are staying at the hotel and show them your room key to take advantage fo the $5 cover charge. They do not advertise this and we ended up paying the full price cover charge. )
Saturday January 5th
7am Grab breakfast at hotel or around hotel
NOTE: There are lot’s of places to grab a quick bite around the hotel. Several of us just went downstair and around the corner to Starbucks and some went over to Lori’s diner across the street and said it was amazing!
Head to Napa
8:30am – Limo Party Bus picks us up in front of the hotel
NOTE: We used Million Services and had an amazing experience. From the time I called to book the party bus to the end of our trip Reese was extremely informative and helpful! Could not recommend Million Services more!
Napa Tastings/Tour Schedule-
NOTE: Before you head to Napa it’s very important to book all of your tastings/ tours ahead of time. Especially when you are headed there with a large group.
1st– 10:15am Mumm Napa- $35 pp tasting
2nd- 12pm Sterling Vineyards – $35 pp tasting/tour
Lunch- On the way back to SF we will stopped for a quick lunch @ Gotts’s Roadside/ Ox Bow Public Market
NOTE:This market has lot’s of options for lunch and will be easy for a quick lunch on the way back.
Head Back to SF
4:45pm Arrive back at hotel
– Some took naps and some headed out to do a little shopping in Union Square
Pizza Party
7:45pm Pizza party at the hotel
After a long day in Napa a pizza party at the hotel was perfect! We ordered in from Uncle Vito’s and it was just the thing we needed!
Night Out
10:30pm Head out to a few bars
- We started out on Valenica Street and went to Casanova Lounge and then Blondies for some dancing.
- We ended the night in the Castro District at Badlands. ( Super fun! 😉 )
Sunday January 6th
Heading Home
10am Brunch at Scala’s Bistro ( located at the hotel and the perfect spot to grab a yummy breakfast before heading out)
12pm check out of hotel
NOTE: We had a little time to kill before heading to the airport so we drove back to the Golden Gate to take some photos in the rain and on the way back we drove by the iconic painted ladies.
If you are looking to go to SF for a bachelorette or maybe just a fun girls weekend, I could not recommend this itinerary more! We had the best time and made memories that will last a lifetime!
YOU ARE SO LOVED!
XOXO,Tay
