I hope you are having a wonderful week! There are so many things to prepare and plan for as a bride to be. You want everything to look it’s best including yourself. This is one of biggest day of your life and you want to be in the best shape you can be. For myself, this was something I knew I wanted to do. So I thought I would share my workout and diet plan that I followed before the wedding.
Before I start, the planning process is so much fun but it can be stressful. There are so many things going on around you and it feels as if your to do list is never ending. That being said, try not to be too hard on yourself. The most important thing is to be healthy and happy. I say this because I had to constantly remind myself of this. It’s okay if you miss a workout,or maybe eat something unhealthy. Everyday go in with a mind set that this is about you, and bettering yourself.
*Also, I am by no means a fittnes expert. This is just the plan that worked for me. Before attempting any of these workouts, diet, and tips make sure to speak with your doctor.
WORKOUT SCHEDULE
Monday- Kayla Itsines BBG workout
Tuesday- Run or go to Pilates (my favorite pilates studio in Houston is Defy ! They are incredible!)
Wednesday- Kayla Itsines BBG workout
Thursday- Run or go to Pilates at Defy
Friday- Kayla Itsines BBG workout
Saturday- Run of go to Pilates at Defy
Sunday- active rest day ( usually go for a walk )
DIET
My diet consisted of a lot of protein, low carbs and unprocesses food. I actaully did not follow a plan just tried to eat as healthy as possible. Fridays though, I defintely would have a marg and chips and salsa. I believe it’s important to be healthy but not deprive yourself.
SLIM DOWN TRICKS
Apple Cider Vinegar drink- In the moring I like to drink this right after I wake up and while I have my quiet time. It’s a great daily detox and helps with pesky belly bloat.
How to make it: 1 glass of water, 2 tbs acv, 2 tbs lemon juice, 1 tbs honey. Mix it all together. I like to heat mine up a bit but you can drink it cold as well.
Bullet Proof Coffee- This is actaully something I just recently started drinking but wish I would have known about it while I was planning my wedding. This drink promotes weight loss while following a low carb diet. I have found that it helps detox as well. It is imporant to still eat a little beakfast with this though.
How to make it: 1 cup of black coffee, 1 tbs coconut oil, 1 tbs grass-fed butter, 1/2 tsp of vanilla. Put all ingrediant into a blender and blend until comdined. Pour into coffee cup and enjoy.
I also love to use the ItWorks skinny wrap. I have used this wrap for years now and use it on days that I need a little bit of tightening and toning. Perfect before pictures, or your actual wedding day.
