Happy first day of summer! Can you believe we are in summer? This year is flying by! I am so excited to enjoy these next few heat filled months sitting by the pool, visiting the beach, and sipping on summer cocktails, and enjoying the beautiful sunny weather. What are you most excited for this season? As we walk our way into summer you can’t go wrong with striped pieces. As I like to say, summer and stripes and everything nice 🙂 So today, I thought I would show you one or my favorite outfits I have worn to date + a few other of my favorite summer striped pieces.

I am in love with this look I am wearing here. I bought these pieces a few weeks ago, and threw the outfit together for Saturday brunch with friends and knew when I put it on that it was going to be an outfit on repeat these next few months. The navy striped top gives it a fun nautical look, and can we talk about this skirt!? The most adorable thing ever! I have been on the look out for a maxi skirt for weeks and when I found this tie waist skirt I just had to have it. Also, did I mention that it is under $70? A great budget worthy find. I paired this look with my favorite flower statement earrings, a bamboo ark bag, and the perfect block heeled sandals. This is a classic summer outfit that can be worn for years to come.
