T3 Curling Iron: (size 1.25) Sephora | Dry Bar Texture Spray: Sephora | Moroccan Oil Hair Spray: Sephora | Teasing Comb: Sephora
Hello Darling!
Since cutting my hair short I have received several questions about how I style it and what products I use daily. Cutting my hair was a huge change for me but I have absolutely loved it! It had been so fun to learn how to style and curl it and today, I am going to share step by step how to do just that.
How To Style And Curl Short Hair
Before curling my hair, I start by blow drying it straight with a round brush and applying a small amount of rose oil to help smooth things out. I have very thick/ wavy hair and this helps tame with the frizz and natural craziness of my hair. 🙂
STEP ONE
I begin by curling my hair with a 1.25 curling iron. This size is great for short lengths to allow the best curls possible. Taking one strand of hair I curl it outwards, leaving the ends of my hair out. I then take the next piece of my hair and curl it inwards, leaving the ends out as well. It is key to go back and forth with the direction you curl to achieve that tousled curl look.
STEP TWO
After fishing all of the curls, I take my favorite texture spray by Drybar (smells amazing) and spray underneath my hair in layers. I then use a teasing comb to lightly tease the ends to give it a little more body. I finish off the look with hair spray and voilá .
This look is super easy and chic! I am so excited because all of the products that I use to achieve this look are currently apart of the Sephora Spring Bonus Sale. The sale ends on 4/23. You can get more details about the sale, including the discount code on this post.
I hope you enjoy this post. If you have any questions about how I style this look, please let me know in the comments below.
