Remembering The True Meaning Of Christmas

Hello Darling!

Today is a very special post. Something that has been on my heart for weeks, and I am so excited to share it with you today. The holidays are some of the craziest and busiest times of the year. With the hustle and bustle of Christmas parties, finding the perfect gifts,  getting the house ready for family, and the list goes on. With everything going on around you it can be so easy to forget the true meaning of Christmas. I know this because I have found myself these past few weeks forgetting it myself. It is so important to remember why we are celebrating and what this is all about.

Christmas is about love

A love so great that the Lord sent his only son to earth, to be born of a virgin in a manger, to one day die on a cross for our sins. What a gift! This love is something so hard to comprehend, but so important to cherish and remember. Especially during this time of the year. My prayer for you is that you would be filled this holiday season with an overwhelming amount of love and joy, and that you would know how loved you truly are.

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”- Isaiah 9:6

I encourage you to take some time today in the middle of all the craziness to be still, to soak in the love around you , and to remember why we are celebrating.
