Picking Up Fall Essentials

Hello Darling!

With Halloween this weekend and Thanksgiving around the corner there are a million things on my to do list. Picking up fall essentials is just one of them. Luckly, I was able to visit the River Oaks Shopping Center to pick up several of those essentials before things start to get really busy. So today, I thought I would round up those fall essentials and share where to get them.

Picking Up Fall Essentials

If you live in the Houston area, you know that the River Oaks Shopping Center is one of the most iconic spots to shop. From groceries, to gifts and more it’s a one stop shop for all your must have’s. That is why when I needed to pick up these essentials I knew exactly where I needed to go.

First stop

Kroger

This is probably my favorite Kroger in all of Houston. Super clean, great quality items, and it has that old fashion feel like the entire shopping center. ( I am a sucker for all those vintage or old fashion- turn on some Frank Sinatra and you have me 😉 ) A few things I picked up at Kroger include:

– Mums for the front porch

-wine for the holidays

-pumpkins to carve

-& ingredients for my chocolate chip cookies

Second Stop

Barnes & Noble

I love Barnes & Noble, there is something about the smell of books that just warms my soul. To prep for Thanksgiving I wanted to grab Southern Livings ” Best Fall Recipes” magazine. Always good to plan ahead! I also stumbled up the cutest Halloween children’s book for baby girl and could not resist!

Final Stop

Starbucks

This is how I always start or end each trip to River Oaks Shopping Center. After checking off items from my fall essentials list, I felt there was no better way to celebrate than by picking up a hot Chai Tea Latte to enjoy. The Starbucks off of West Grey is always a go to off mine.

Baby girl and I had so much fun on our shopping trip. After that we headed home to finish decorating our fall front porch. Making memories with her is my favorite thing to do!

If you are looking for a spot to shop  this holiday season, I could not recommend River Oaks Shopping Center more!
