Hello Darling,
Outings look a little different these days. However we are having fun finding ways and spots to visit while still social distancing. As a new Momma I have been extra careful where and when we go places. However, I recently found that after 3 months of self- quarantining it was time to get out and get some fresh air with the babe. So the other day my mom, baby girl and I packed up and headed out for a fun social distance outing to River Oaks Shopping Center.
Our Fun Social Distance Outing To River Oaks Shopping Center
If you have been following along for awhile, you know by now that River Oaks Shopping Center is one of my favorite spots in Houston. What I love most about this area, especially during this time is that it’s easy to walk around and keep a safe distance from those around you.
We started our afternoon by grabbing lunch at Epicure Café. We opted to sit outside to continue keeping a healthy distance as well as enjoy the beautiful sunny day. It was wonderful because we did not have to go inside at all. With the menus on the windows, we just called the number on the menu, placed our order and the server brought it right out. We were very pleased with how safely things were running.
After our delicious lunch we enjoyed walking around a little bit more. Each store and shop had a sign on the door letting you know if they were open as well as safety precautions they were taking. It was comforting to know that the entire shopping center was taking extra precautions to keep everyone safe.
We then decided to pop into Marble Slab to cool off and grab some yummy ice cream. All of the tables were no longer there and a line was placed in front of the counter to allow 6ft between you and the employees. On top of this they also wore masks and placed hand sanitizer on the counter to use.
Overall I felt super safe and comfortable during this outing to River Oaks Shopping Center. The fresh air was just what we needed and not to mention the ice cream too!
YOU ARE SO LOVED!
XOXO,Tay
