Our Relaxing Dallas Weekend Road Trip + Giveaway

Hello Darling!

This past weekend Hunter and I decided to go away on a fun Dallas weekend road trip. It has been a super busy summer and a little time away together was much needed! Dallas has such a special place in our hearts as we lived there for 5 years and it is also where we first met. So when deciding where to go it was a no brainier that Dallas was the perfect place to get away.

Dallas Weekend Road Trip

The road trip from Houston to Dallas is one that we have made countless times. Although, this specific trip was made much sweeter by getting to drive the gorgeous Lexus LX 570. It is truly the perfect road tripping vehicle. It is spacious, comfortable, and drives like a charm. Also, can we also talk about the incredible surround sound and two tv screens in the back?? Hunter and I are both now convinced that this should definitely be my mom car someday. 😉

Once we made it to Dallas we immediately checked into the amazing Omni Dallas Hotel. This is the second time Hunter and I have had the pleasure of staying at this gorgeous location and I can tell you that it did not disappoint. From our gorgeous room, the incredible service, and top of the line amenities we were blown away!

That evening we had the honor of eating at Black Ship Little Katana, one of the many incredible restaurants on Lamar, located on the Omni property. This was a dining experience we will remember forever. A few of the items we tried that night were, wagyu, the angel sushi roll, toro sashimi, and the list goes on. To say we left and happy and full would be an understatement. If you are a sushi lover and in the Dallas area we could not recommend this place more! (Note: Make sure to ask for Angel when you go, he is the best! )

Being the adults that we are, we could only sleep in until 8am so decided to order room service and enjoy the amazing views of Dallas from our room. Having a morning to just relax and lounge around was just what the doctor ordered.

Outfit Note: This is my absolute favorite sleep shirt I own, and could not be cuter. Perfect for weekends away.

Our entire room was spectacular! However, Hunter and I both agree that our favorite part of the room was the bathroom. It was filled with floor to ceiling windows showcasing the most beautiful view of Dallas, and letting in the most gorgeous morning light.

Before heading to the amazing rooftop infinite pool for the afternoon, we enjoyed brunch at another one of their restaurants on Lamar Café Herrera. They have an amazing michelada brunch on Saturday and Sundays, and of course the best chips and salsa.

Outfit Note: I am obsessed with this Flagpole bikini– my favorite this summer. Chic, and appropriate.

Our last evening we headed to our favorite restaurant in Dallas, Neighborhood Services. This is the restaurant that Hunter took me to after he proposed. It holds such sweet memories for us! My sister and her fiancé joined us for dinner as well. They both live in Dallas now and it was so much fun to be able to spend some time together.
