Life Update
Oh my goodness, where to even begin. This is my first Monthly favorites post since I had baby girl. To say that this year has been a whirlwind would be an understatement. I know that the majority of you feel the same way too. Baby girl is now 7 months old, and will be 8 months on the 26th of this month. I just can’t believe. It feels as if I had her just yesterday. She is the most wonderful and precious gift in world. Motherhood has been the sweetest, hardest and most rewarding journey of my entire life! I definitely plan on sharing more of postpartum life and what these past 7 months have looked like very soon.
Our family has stayed safe and healthy during this crazy year- all glory to God! We have spent quite a bit of time at home, leaning into this new season as first time parents and enjoying the extra time together as a family. Hunter has luckily been able to work from home which has allowed him to spend extra quality time with Isla Grace. So thankful for his help with her, especially during the first few months. Parenting is hard y’all! Especially while you’re healing from childbirth and throw a pandemic on top of that- sheesh. Still, so grateful and it’s been the best!
I have been doing well! Not going to lie the toll that childbirth took on me both physically and mentally was much more than I anticipated. Hence the reason I took some time away from the blog. It was good for me to work on myself and learn about this new roll the Lord has placed me in. I have loved keeping up with this community via Instagram but have definitely missed connecting through blog posts and creating content.
What’s To Come
This month starts an extremely busy season for me- HOLIDAY SEASON! This means gifts guides, giveaways to give back to YOU ( a way to show my appreciation & love), catching up on blog posts, sharing incredible sales & much more! With this holiday season looking a little differently when it comes to shopping I hope to be a resource to help you shop for your holiday gifts in the easiest/safest way possible. Throughout this month I will be sharing important dates, early Black Friday & Cyber week sales – many are going all the way through November. So stay tuned for all the fun things ahead.
