Hello Darling!
For our last night in Vail Valley we checked into the Bachelor Gulch Ritz Carlton . This truly was the perfect way to end our trip and and a memory Hunter and I will remember forever.
The Bachelor Gulch Ritz Carlton
Checking In
As soon as we pulled up to the Ritz Carlton we knew we were in for a treat. Only 20 minutes away from Vail headed further into the mountain you are greeted with the most spectacular views. Driving up to the Ritz Carlton you feel as if you are in a tucked away mountain oasis. We loved how secluded it was from everything and yet so close as well.
Walking into the beautiful resort you are greeted as if you are family and feel such a warmth from the staff to the cabin like property. After checking in we spent some time exploring. We loved that this was also a ski in and ski out resort. The lift was not open while we were there but the snow continued to come down which meant that it soon would be.
We then made our way up to our room and as soon as we opened the door we were blown away. From the fireplace, to the stunning balcony and mountain view we were ready to move in. The room was extremely spacious and would be perfect for a family vacation.
Board Games In The Great Room
After settling in we headed downstairs to the great room to enjoy a glass of champagne, and watch the Texans VS. Broncos game by the fire. We had no idea that we had timed this trip perfectly to watch both of our favorite teams play each other at Mile High. It was such a fun treat to our day. While watching, we noticed that there were some board games laying out to play. We pulled out scrabble and played for the next few hours as we watched the snow fall from the floor to ceiling windows. Truly felt like we were in a dream!
Before heading dinner at Buffalos (one of six of their dining experiences on the property) , we went upstair to our room to change and get ready. Little did we know that their would be a surprise waiting for us in front of the fire. This was just a glimpse into the thoughtfulness of the staff here. They continued to go out of their way to make us feel welcomed and at home. Hunter loved the old fashion kit they had layed out for him. Especially their very own Bachelor Bourbon Whiskey.
After our incredible dinner at Buffalos we headed back into the great room to roast some marshmallows and enjoy some s’mores. They had so many fun activities for the guests to do here. Whether if you were on a romantic getaway, or family vacation they had activities catering to all. We ended the night outside in the hot tub as the snow continued to come down.
Coffee And A Mountain View
That next morning we woke up to another snow covered mountain view. We enjoyed a cup of coffee by the fire in our room and took in all the beauty from this trip.
For breakfast we enjoyed an incredible meal at another one of their on property restaurants, WYLD. The service again was impeccable and we were greeted with a complimentary green health shot which was just what we needed after all the yummy food we had been eating. I ordered the avocado toast and Hunter had the egg white frittata. It was delicious!
The Bachelor Gulch Spa
We then made our way to the spa to enjoy a couples massage before checking out. The reviews we had heard about the award winning Bachelor Gulch Spa were outstanding and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Like every other aspect of this hotel the spa could not have been more amazing. The service was incredible, and the amenities were top of the line. It was the perfect way to end our trip.
Headed Back To Denver
After the spa we sadly had to head back to the room and check out. We packed up our Lexus NX 300 and headed back to Denver to fly out. Our snowy drive back through the mountains was beautiful. We were so thankful to be driving this Lexus throughout our trip. As every other Lexus we have driven, it was a smooth drive, spacious enough for our bags and to travel comfortably, and every bit luxurious.
We could not have asked for a better ending to our trip to Vail Valley, and can’t wait to go back. After sharing our incredible trip with our families, we are currently already trying to plan a family vacation. If you are looking to go skiing, get away on a romantic vacation, or take a family trip we could not recommend the Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch more!
YOU ARE SO LOVED!
XOXO,Tay
