Hello Darling!
Decorating for the holidays is my absolute favorite! Celebrating each season and all that comes with it. Now that we finally have a home to decorate I am so excited for our first official holiday season in the new house. I have been working hard to decorate our Thanksgiving tablescape and thought it would be fun to share it with you + my super easy pumpkin chocolate chip cookie recipe.
Thanksgiving Tablescape
I wanted to keep our tablescape fairly simple this year. Something that would celebrating the Thanksgiving and fall season but also bring out the clean and cozy charm of our kitchen nook. I wanted it to be a place where family and friends could come sit and feel right at home.
I started out by simply adding a white runner for the table and filled it with real mini pumpkins, faux eucalyptus branches and candles. From there of course set out the place settings.
To add a special creative touch to each place setting, I took some of the extra faux eucalyptus branches and cut them to fit inside the napkin ring. Super budget friendly and really completes the setting.
After making sure each place setting was perfect it was time for the final touch. Lighting the candles. There is something so beautiful and inviting when it comes to having candles apart of your tablescape. The best part is, it is also budget friendly as well. No need to have candle holder, just simply buy plain white candles and arrange them across the table to have a beautiful center piece.
My Famous Easy Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
I call these my “famous” pumpkin chocolate chip cookies because in college I found a super easy recipe to make for my roommates and friends during the fall season. After one time making them, year after year they would come back asking for more. It’s now become a tradition for me and I love making them for all of our friends and family.
The best part about these cookies is that they really are SUPER easy! Whether if you are a seasoned baker or not I promise you will be able to make these cookies. Plus, you will look like a pro!
I hope that this tablescape and pumpkin cookie recipe inspires you to host and celebrate with your loved ones this Thanksgiving season!
YOU ARE SO LOVED!
XOXO,Tay
