I am SO excited for todays very special Music Monday. Worship has always been such a huge part of my life and I thought it would be fun to not only create a Music Monday worship edition playlist with a list of worship songs I love but also share my story with worship.

I also have two incredibly talented friends who I have just recently released EP’s that I know you will love. First is my friend Ashley Rush and her EP album Peace. Second is my friend Ryan Delange and his EP album Mountians. Both albums are truly so beautiful! I have had the privilege of getting to lead with these two friends for over the past two years now and feel beyond blessed to have had the opportunity to serve along side them in worship. My Worship Story
As I said before, worship has always been such a huge part of my life. Growing up, I had the privilege of getting to watch my parents lead worship at our church every Sunday. My mom would sing and my dad would play the piano. The love of music and especially worship music ran deep through our family. My first solo was actually at the age of 4 during a church Christmas pageant. Though it may sound funny, especially since I was so young but from that moment on I knew that music was going to be such an important part of my life. It has always been the way that I have connected with God and felt his presence the most. I spent my entire childhood and high schools years singing and leading worship which eventually lead me to pursue and graduate with a degree in Music Ministry from Dallas Baptist University. I now serve and lead at our church here in Houston, Bayou City Fellowship.
Music and worship is such a beautiful way to praise, give thanks and spend time with God. I truly pray that this playlist brings you joy this Monday.Thank you for letting me share a little part of my story with you as well. Since I have received a few questions regarding church, my background, etc I thought today would be the perfect time to share a little bit of this with you.
