You might have seen on Instagram that we just arrived in Colorado for the week. We are here for a family vacation and reunion. This is truly one of my favorite places to visit. The majority of my family ( with the exception of my sister and I) are all originally from Colorado. So growing up we spent quite a bit of time in Colorado, especially during the summers. Today, I thought I would share my Colorado summer vacation packing list.
My Colorado Summer Vacation Packing List
There truly is so much to do here during the summer. From hiking, to golfing, fishing and simply just relaxing it’s the perfect summer getaway. Here are a few things I have packed for this week:
Packing Checklist
Summers in Colorado are absolutely beautiful! You can expect to see temperatures from 60-70 degrees all the way down to 30 degrees a night. It is important to pack accordingly. Here is my go to checklist of items to pack:
-A pair of jean shorts
-A pair of jeans
–Athletic wear to hike and workout in
–Rain jacket and boots
( always expect to have a least one summer rain shower a day- mountain rain is my fav)
-A cute dress for dinner
-A pair of booties to dress up or down
-A swimsuit for the pool or hot tub
-A hat or two to protect your face from the sun
(Also, make sure to bring lot’s of SPF. The higher the elevation, the closer you are to the sun)
