Hello Darling,
I have missed you! The wedding is over, we are back in Houston from our amazing honeymoon and I have a new last name! I am so excited to catch up and share a special post with you today. MY BRIDAL PORTRAITS!! I have been dying to show you these since the day I got them back. It was so much fun to wear my beautiful wedding dress and shoot with my incredible friend and wedding photographer, Jordan Laessig. He is the absolute best!
We did the shoot near Dallas at Cedar Hill State Park. This is the same location that Hunter and I took our Engagements and it was the perfect day! It had been raining a little bit that past weekend but the day of the shoot the sun came out and turned into a gorgeous day. My momma came with me to Dallas this weekend and we turned it into a last minute girls trip which was SO much fun. I definitely recommend bringing your mom, sister, or friend with you to the shoot to help with your dress, and to make sure your hair/makeup is looking good.
When deciding what kind of look I wanted on my wedding day it was a no brainer for me to go with an old Hollywood glam. I have been dreaming of my wedding day for as long as I can remember and have always wanted this kind of look. Below, I am going to share with you the amazing people who helped achieve this dream.
Bridal Portrait Beauty:
My makeup and hair was done by Brittany Kroll and Elizabeth Teller with, THE LUXXE LOOK. I could not recommend them more. They were so sweet, easy to work with and did an incredible job.
Spray tan was done a few days before in Houston, TX by the AMAZING Jessica Cortez at Beautifully Bronzed.
Eyelash extensions were done by the sweet and talented Deborah Paulson at Texas Lash Guru.
Bridal Portrait Attire:
My beautiful earrings are from Kendra Scott and are apart of their Bridal collection. I loved these because they went perfectly with the old Hollywood glam look that I was striving for.
Now the most important part, my DRESS! 🙂 My dream dress and veil are both from BHLDN. Fun fact, this is actually the first dress I tried on when I was looking for my wedding gown. I did try on a few others just to be safe but I knew this was the one as soon as I put it on.
I actually did not wear shoes for my bridals. With it being outside I did not want to chance getting them messed up before the wedding and it ended up being a lot more relaxing to go barefoot as well.
Thank you so much for letting me share these with you! This has been the most exciting time in my life and it has truly been an honor to share it with you.
I have received a few questions about the “I Do Style” posts and I wanted to let you know that I will continue to share these posts every Wednesday. I have received such a great feedback from them and I have loved writing about this journey. So if you have any specific wedding post you would like me to write, I would love to hear your suggestions and ideas.
YOU ARE SO LOVED!
XOXO,Tay
