How in the world is it already September?! This year has FLOWN by already. Now being a mom, I feel as if the years fly by so much faster than before. Wishing we could slow down time a little but trying to soak up every moment as much as possible. Before we hop into this new month lets look at the August monthly favorites.
August Monthly Favorites
August was a busy end to our summer. Between running around with Isla and small weekend trips with family and friends it was fun. Our favorite trip we took this past month was to Fredericksburg to celebrate my sisters birthday. We truly had such a blast and it was the perfect little getaway for us all. What’s To Come Next Month
September is already off to a crazy start. If you missed it over on Instagram, our house was struck by lightening this past Friday and completely fried our AC. So we have been nomads spending the weekend in San Antonio and now we’re currently staying at my parents. Praying to be back in the house as soon as possible so all the prayers are appreciated.
Isla Grace started school this week and my mama heart could BURST! Between our new schedule with school, our current living situation and all the upcoming weekend trips it’s looking like September will be a BUSY one! I am 100% a planner so this has thrown me for a bit of loop but taking it a day at a time and counting our blessings. I know there is a lesson here and God is funny like that some times.
You may have noticed a few subtle changes to the branding here on the blog and on Instagram. This month more of those changes are going to continue to roll out and I can’t wait for you to see them!
As we transition into Fall there will be lots of fun posts coming. Decor, halloween costumes, transitional pieces and more!
