Hello Darling!
& Happy New Year! I can’t believe that we are officially in 2021. This past year seemed to fly by and yet dragged along forever as well. I think we can all agree that this past year was one for the books. Before jumping into the new year and new content I am excited to share a year in review, 2020 favorites.
A Year In Review 2020 Favorites
One of my favorite things to do at the beginning of each year is to look back over the year. Celebrating the highs, the lessons learned and more. Though this year was a tough one for most, I believe it is so important to choose joy. Celebrate those little moments and enter into the new year with gratitude. So let’s get started.
Favorite…..
Moment
When Isla Grace was born
read about her birth story HERE.
Trip
Our summer trip to Seaside. It was the first trip we took as a family of three and so special.
Show
SO many shows to pick from #quarantine but if I had to pick I would say Bridgerton
Song
The Blessing- Kari Jobe
We had this song playing in the delivery room and it will forever have a special
place in my heart
Bible Verse
Proverbs 16:8
“A man’s heart plans his way,
But the Lord directs his steps.”
Lesson Learned
The biggest lesson I have learned this year, is that you can plan things but at the end of the day you are not in control. God is in control and instead of trying to control the outcome ourselves it’s much better to surrender to Him.
Recipe
Does a drink recipe count? 😉 My fave has been an Espresso Martini
1: ONE PART KAHLÚA
2: ONE PART ABSOLUT VODKA
3: ONE PART ESPRESSO
YUMM!!!

Thankful Moments
A High I Am Thankful For
Baby girl being born. Best moment of my life!
A Low I Am Thankful For
Postpartum was extremely hard for me. I was struggling with postpartum depression, low milk supply on top of the pandemic. Emotionally I was at my absolute lowest I have ever been. However, I pushed though, kept nursing, and made it out the other side so much stronger.
