Hello Darling!
A few weeks, some of my best girls and I spent a fun one night Houston staycation at Hotel Alessandra. Kailey, Hailey, Jess and I had all received so may request and questions on where to stay in Houston and thought it would be fun to find out ourselves. Hotel Alessandra is a new hotel in downtown Houston that we had heard rave reviews about. So, when deciding where to stay we knew exactly where we needed to go.
Hotel Alessandra
As soon as you pull up to the hotel you feel a sense of ease and luxury. Walking in you are greeted by a beautiful white marble staircase leading you to the front desk. The staff is as sweet as can be, and extremely accommodating. As we headed up to our room each hall wall was filled with classic sophistication, and modern luxury. Fun fact: If you look closely to the wall paper in the hallways you will find an “A” hidden on each wall.
As we walked into our room we were awe struck. From the crisp white colors, gold details, and touches of royal green it was absolutely stunning!
After settling into our rooms , we headed to lunch at a new restaurant near downtown, Emmaline. We were seriously blown away by the beauty of Emmaline. Walking in, you feel as if you have walked into a European garden. Of course, we stared with cocktails, then moved onto the cheese fondue which was DIVINE. When dining at Emmaline, this is a must! We then enjoyed our lunch, chatted it up for bit and headed back to the hotel.
Arriving back at the hotel, we took some time to explore all that the hotel had to offer. From the fantastic gym, the amazing rooftop pool, their incredible spa, and the stunning bar. We were so impressed!
Earlier in the day we had made reservations at their critically acclaimed restaurant, Lucienne. As we waited for dinner time, we enjoyed a little happy hour at the Bardot Bar and Lounge. We loved that the bar was named after Bridget Bardot. If you look at the photo above you can find a photo of her right above the bar area.
We then enjoyed a delicious, and unique dining experience at Lucienne. We loved the tasting menu, and enjoyed sampling all that the restaurant had to offer.
After dinner we headed back up to the room to put on our pjs, open a bottle of wine, and watch chick flicks. It seriously was the best!
We woke up the next morning, ordered room service, and enjoyed breakfast in bed before heading out. A good girls night is always good for the soul. We truly enjoyed our time at Hotel Alessandra and could not recommend it more.
