Hello Darling!
I am so excited to share all about my 72 hour trip to Los Angeles with some of my best girls. Kailey, Hailey, Jess and I headed out to LA for a quick girls trip a few weeks ago and to say it was a dream would be an understatement. With it being such a short trip, it definitely was a whirlwind but a fun one at that.
72 Hours In Los Angeles
Originally, this trip was planned to solely be a work trip for Kailey and Hailey but when they asked Jess and I to tag along to make it a girls trip, we quickly said YES! Arriving on Wednesday we were so excited to pick up the new Lexus RX to drive around throughout our trip. The car was absolutely stunning and made our trip even more incredible!
We then checked into our gorgeous hotel in West Hollywood, The Kimpton Everly. After settling in and taking in the gorgeous view of the Hollywood sign, we changed and headed to a late lunch at the Ivory on Sunset. Located in the Mondrian Hotel, you walk in to see the most spectacular view of the city. We opted to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful California weather while eating the best cheese board.
Spending the rest of the day exploring the area, and stopping by the Grove for a little shopping we headed for a pre dinner drink at Catch. We had heard so many amazing things about this stunning restaurant and bar, and it truly lived up to the hype. A must when visiting LA. After enjoying our drinks we then had dinner at Laurel Hardware. This was one of our favorite meals during the trip. Such a fun, candle lit atmosphere, and the tapas/family style menu was incredible! Definitely recommend ordering the Lollipop Sprouts, and Wild Mushroom Pizza. Delicious!
Our first morning in LA, we woke up bright and early to head to Beverly Hills for a fun shoot with our incredible and talented friend, Jessi Burrone. After this we headed on a little road trip to Laguna. Shamelessly blaring the Laguna Beach soundtrack with the windows down, experiencing all that is LA traffic. It was a blast!
As soon as we pulled up to Laguna my heart stopped. One of the most beautiful places I have ever been in my entire life. We ate lunch at the Deck and enjoyed their incredible beach front views, and amazing cocktails. After this we explored on the beach, and stopped in to see the stunning Ritz Carlton.
For dinner, we headed back to LA and enjoyed a late night dinner at Villa Blanca. One of the Vanderpump restaurants located on Rodeo Drive. It was the perfect end to an amazing day!
Our last morning we woke up early to explore and enjoy the hotel a bit. We cannot speak highly enough of this gorgeous new hotel. It truly was so beautiful. We then headed out for brunch at the Ivy. From complementary champagne, to the goat cheese filled zucchini blossoms this was truly one of the most special brunch experiences I have ever had.
Before heading to the airport we had to stop at the famous Beverly Hills Hotel. A bucket list item I have dreamt about since I was a little girl. Thinking of Audrey, to Marilyn and so many others that have spent time at the Beverly Hills, it was beyond special. We grabbed a quick drink at the Polo Lounge and then headed off to the airport.
This trip was packed full of so many memories that I will cherish forever. I am so grateful to have experienced them with some of the sweetest and best friends I could ask for.
YOU ARE SO LOVED!
XOXO,Tay
