We stumbled upon this gem after a morning of riding the Breckenridge Gondola. We noticed a sign outside saying, ” the best views in Breckenridge. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. We sat on their deck in the back and enjoyed the most gorgeous view of the mountains. Upon sitting down the sweet owner came over to tell us a little more about their establishment and informed us that they were also known for their famous margaritas. With a group of Texans that’s all you need to say. 😉 We enjoyed a (few) margaritas and light apps. This was one of our favorite spots!
This was such a fun spot! One night after dinner at the house, all of the Malott cousins went to this little spot to enjoy a few drinks. We walked in, found a table and realized they had a whole area with board and card games. We spent the evening laughing, enjoying cocktails, and playing games. It was so fun to spend time together in this cute spot.
We stopped in here for lunch after and morning hike and LOVED it. The views from the back patio were beautiful, and the food and drinks were amazing. Some of our favorite dishes were- popcorn cauliflower, bratwurst, and the pizza.
We LOVED our experience at the distillery. We enjoyed lunch/drinks at their restaurant, and also came back another day to enjoy a tasting. If you are a BBQ fan, or enjoy distillery tastings I definitely recommend stopping in.
This was another stop after a morning hike and by far one of my top favorites. It is a small space but absolutely adorable. The service was fantastic, the food amazing and of course wine was spectacular. We enjoyed and shared a few small plates- Cheese & Meat Charcuterie Board, Wine Chips, Brussels, and of course a few glasses of wine. We tried a glass of their sparkling rosé, as well as a glass of both their Syrah and Cab on tap. Unfortunately, we did not have time to take a tour but we put it on the list for next time.
Throughout our trip we made several visits to The Crown. From small bites to breakfast/lunch, ice cream, beer, coffee and more this spot was the BEST! With the colder weather we loved their spiked coffee- a few favorites were the Breckenridge Coffee and their Espresso Martini.
This spot took me back to my childhood and made me so happy! From their homemade rotating flavors, and dairy free options this spot was the BEST! Also, did I mention they make their waffle cones right on the spot- talk about HEAVENLY! 😉
Do
Shopping
There are so many adorable shops to visit in Breckenridge. We do most of our shopping in the downtown area.
A few our our favorites are-
Marigolds Farmhouse Funk & Junk
HIKING TRAILS
There are so many amazing trails to hike in and around Breckenridge.
A few include-
Spruce Creek Trailhead
About 10 minutes outside of Breckenridge this trail was a blast! There are several trails to hike on but with the amount of snow we decided to go with most dry. It was a straight hike up and so much fun! The views at the end were more than worth it.
Burro Trail
Right off of the Breckenridge slops, and easy to get to from downtown Breckenridge. This was a trial for all ages! It was a beautiful, wooded hike.
